Project Summary
We were tasked with designing a mobile-first trading experience and a responsive web dashboard, both built from scratch. The client expected a sleek and modern UI similar to Robinhood, Revolut, or Binance, but optimized for copytrading logic.
The mobile and web platforms share a design system, yet each experience is optimized for its context: touch interactions on mobile and data depth on web.

Design Goals
- Design a modular UI system for cross-platform scalability
- Ensure the app feels intuitive for first-time traders
- Maintain compliance UX without cluttering the interface
- Enable live trading metrics, strategy browsing, and performance tracking
- Support future white-labeling and multi-brand deployments
Discovery & UX Challenges
- Original desktop flow lacked UX hierarchy and clarity
- Strategy pages were overloaded with raw data
- Mobile experience had to balance simplicity with insights
- Legal disclosures and compliance screens needed to be present yet discreet
- Responsive design required shared patterns without copy-pasting mobile logic

Discovery & Competitor Analysis
Studied platforms like Algo24, Robinhood, and LuxAlgo to identify whitespace in mobile-first copytrading.
Wireframes & Flow Mapping
Created 63 and 63+ mid-fidelity wireframes for both platforms, focusing on user journeys: discover → follow → monitor.
Component System Design
Shared Figma tokens for spacing, states, and theme management
Edge Case Coverage
Built interactions for empty states, paused trades, KYC errors, etc.
Responsive Layout Strategy
Implemented adaptive containers for layout shifts, maintaining hierarchy across breakpoints

Dark theme first (finance-grade aesthetic)
Built-in elevation layers, gradients, and rounded containers
Chart UI with live ROI, drawdown, and risk score visualizations
Strategy cards with data-focused hierarchy
Modular components: tabs, chips, dropdowns, badges, filters
